The Marketing and Business Development Executive will play a key role in driving the growth of our work marketplace portal. This role involves developing and executing marketing strategies, expanding the platform’s user base, and fostering strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing and business development within the online services industry.Key Responsibilities:1. Marketing Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the work marketplace platform.
- Create and manage digital marketing campaigns across social media, search engines, email, and other online platforms.
- Develop and oversee content marketing initiatives, including blogs, newsletters, and case studies.
Track and analyze key marketing metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions for improvements. - Optimize the user journey on the platform through targeted messaging and advertising efforts.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential partnerships to expand the platform’s reach and services.
- Build and maintain relationships with freelancers, businesses, and other stakeholders to ensure mutual success.
- Negotiate and close deals with new clients and partners, ensuring win-win agreements.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive advantages within the marketplace.
- Develop proposals, presentations, and reports to present to potential clients and partners.
- Promote brand awareness through targeted outreach efforts and community engagement, both online and offline.
- Plan and execute events, webinars, and other initiatives to raise awareness of the platform’s features and benefits.
- Work with influencers and thought leaders to expand the platform’s visibility and credibility.
- Act as a point of contact for key clients and partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
- Work closely with the customer service team to address customer needs, concerns, and feedback.
- Implement strategies to improve user retention and loyalty across the platform.
- Prepare detailed reports on business development activities, marketing performance, and ROI.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and other external factors that may influence business growth.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to align strategies and ensure KPIs are met.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (0-3 years) in marketing, business development, or sales within a digital, tech, or online services industry (experience in work marketplace platforms is a plus).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and strategies (SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email campaigns, content marketing).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day tasks.
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and an ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and marketing automation tools.
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Knowledge of the work marketplace industry and trends.
- Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities.
